How to deal with Georgia’s Election Board MAGA fraudsters

Below are some thoughts on the upcoming election. I do not believe they are overstated. Election chaos is the goal of MAGA, and it must be stopped.

Right wing nuts with God on their side said the hurricanes were "retribution" for all sorts of liberal sins.

Amazing how silent these hypocrites are now that the devastation is happening in Red State Florida, home of wannabe fascist Ron DeSantis.

First a bit of history, as told by AI:

On September 23, 1957, President Dwight D. Eisenhower sent federal troops to Little Rock, Arkansas to maintain order and peace during the integration of Central High School. The action was in response to Arkansas Governor Orval Faubus's decision to use the Arkansas National Guard to prevent nine African American students from entering the school. The event became known as the "Little Rock Crisis" and gained worldwide attention.

Eisenhower's decision was based on a finding that his prior "cease and desist" proclamation had not been obeyed, and that mobs of pro-segregationists were still gathering near the school. He also wanted to ensure the safety of the students and uphold the rulings of the Supreme Court.

Eisenhower invoked the Insurrection Act of 1807 to allow the federal troops to perform domestic law enforcement. He ordered the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army to Little Rock and federalized the Arkansas National Guard, taking it out of Governor Faubus's control. The Little Rock Nine were personally guarded by soldiers from the National Guard and the Army's 101st Airborne as they began attending classes regularly at Central High.

Is this relevant to today? In the opinion of many…. very much so. There are now countless articles from credible journalists stating that the Georgia Election Boards at the county level have been infiltrated by Trump election deniers. In numerous statements and social media postings, they have made it clear that the only valid candidate is Donald Trump and through numerous schemes, they are going to challenge or invalidate votes for Harris. While the election board members may deny this, the facts are clear.

Justin Glawe and Rolling Stone have led the way in exposing their plans. Investigative reporters for The Guardian, Reuters, Washington Post and so many others have also discovered the guardrails of election procedures have been altered to favor Trump. Sorry to say, it’s not that hard to alter them. Plus, the GOP MAGA Georgia Legislature has their backs. It all looks perfectly legal.

However, it may not be. This is where Biden and the Justice Department, the FBI, US Marshalls, federal prosecutors, and yes, armed troops come in. They must be on the ground on election day to ensure that Georgia and the other states planning election fraud are stopped.

It will be too late to contain the Trump-intended chaos (see the Jack Smith superseding inditement) after the votes are cast. Here we are four years later, prosecuting and incarcerating election fraudsters from the 2020 election.

The country does not have four years to do that again. The arrests and prosecutions for election fraud need to happen day of.

That’s why Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland must mobilize now and overrule the Georgia fraudsters, just as Eisenhower did. Eisenhower knew the plans of Arkansas governor Faubus. Eisenhour saw what Faubus did by calling in the Arkansas National Guard to help block the school doors. The president would have none of it. To this day, I think Eisenhower’s response was one of the bravest acts in Presidential history.

January 6^th has shown us what a violent, election-denying mob can do. Death and destruction follow in their wake.

Tragically, this time it may be worse, with Musk and his X stoking up violence (like in England), calling it “civil war.”

As Ukraine just did in Kursk, sometimes the best strategy is to show your opponents you are not going to let them dictate the terms of the conflict.
